London(AFP): Madonna, who recently sparked outrage over posting photoshopped pictures of Martin Luther King and Nelson Mandela, has defended her action saying that pictures were never intended to insult anyone.

In a post on Facebook, the Queen of Pop asserted that this is neither a crime or an insult or racist.

The Material Girl hitmaker added that she was saying that Martin Luther King and Nelson Mandela were Rebel Hearts too.

Madonna had posted a series of images of several great leaders and photoshopped black rope onto their faces similar to her ‘Rebel Heart’ album cover on Twitter.
