Hyderabad, December 30: A Hindu teen-aged boy was detained in connection with the low intensity bomb blast which struck the Silicon Valley of India on Sunday.The Bengaluru police arrested him for sending out tweets claiming responsible for the blast and also threatening more bomb blasts in Bengaluru.
The arrested boy, named Alok Kumar is a first year engineering student of a college located on outskirts of Bengaluru.
A fake account using the name Abdul Khan was created on the microblogging site and the nabbed boy claimed responsibility for Sunday's blast in a series of tweets, police said.
‘I am Abdul the one behind Bangalore blast yesterday. In 2 days 2 more blast. I challenge catch me if you can. Police my foot ‘ISIS’, reads one of his tweet.
Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh is also tagged in his tweet which reads – ‘@BJPRajnathSingh Hey .... Dekho 2 din ke baad fir blast karega ...’
The boy's parents are on their way to the police station with documents showing that their son is psychologically disturbed and on medication, said the police.

"An FIR has been filed and we will ascertain if he is a minor or not and if he is indeed mentally ill. The boy is studying in a college that's located outside Bengaluru and was home for he vacations.
