Its a shaky and nervous start for Australia this morning, while India will be delighted with Ishant Sharma 's yet another brilliant spell after picking up a wicket in the first half hour. Ishant bowls a lot fuller and Haddin is struck low on the pad, seemingly drifted towards the leg side. Huge appeal, and Marais Erasmus seemed disinterested.

Welcome to the coverage of the third day's play in the 2nd Test match between India and Australia in Brisbane. On Thursday, Australia fought back into the game, taking the last six Indian wickets for 97 runs. At close of play, the Australians had managed 221/4, ending 187 runs behind India's first innings score with six wickets in hand.
